Fire Hall #5 tour: 14 members attended the tour in the morning of November 30th. We received a presentation on how Oshawa Fire is organized, information on fire prevention and household smoke & CO alarms, and a tour of the equipment in the hall. Also, one of the firefighters was challenged to get all his gear and 40+ pounds of equipment on, to be ready within 90 seconds. He made it. Members found in very instructive |
