11:00 AM on Wednesday October 18th Oshawa Probus members enjoyed a delightful luncheon at the Slabtown Cider Company on Wednesday, October 18th. It was such a good outing; we may put this on our social committee agenda for another visit in the future.

THE SUPPER CLUB – Marlene Owen
The Supper Club was launched Monday January 23. The group met at Bollocks Pub and Kitchen (the old Tartan). We had a delicious dinner and enjoyable conversation. It was lovely to meet PROBUS members that we didn’t know that well. So new friendships are blooming. The group is going to meet monthly on the 4th Monday of the month at 5:30. Each month Members are taking turns choosing a restaurant for the group. This evening was a great way to start the week. Cheers!! |

Lunch Group at The Red Lobster -
Another successful outing for our monthly lunch group. We went to the Red Lobster in Oshawa, with fifteen ladies in attendance, plus we had a new member join us. Nice to get to know the ladies on a more intimate basis, fun to share stories. Remember March is the month to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, so be sure to join us at an Irish pub, wearn' the green! ☘ Location to be announced. |

THE SUPPER CLUB – Marlene Owen
Great company, good conversation, drinks, and dinner! The Supper Club crowd met up for all four on Monday, April 24, at the Waltzing Weasel in Oshawa, hosted by Geri Sparkes. This was our fourth supper together and, once again, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves while eating a very satisfying and delicious meal. Our next supper will be hosted by Pat Bayus on Monday, May 22, location to be determined. |
